How to Submit a Title?

The A.p.l.a will consider any artists' publication produced in an edition of 100 copies, or more, for inventory. While the body of the A.p.l.a' stock is artists' books we will also consider audio, video and computer works for inclusion in our inventory. We are mostly interested in artists' publications that are "democratizing" artworks - that is inexpensive and produced in large editions. We will not normally consider exhibition catalogues, art criticism, art history, books of illustrated poetry, literary magazines, T-shirts, loose postcards, multiples or posters. We are highly selective when considering artists' magazines and 'zines.

Because of the large number of submissions we receive the A.p.l.a must be selective in the works we accept.

The A.p.l.a will only consider for review books that have already been published. The A.p.l.a does not publish books on artist's behalf. Please do not submit mock-ups, dummies, or prototypes. The A.p.l.a will not consider for inventory "made to order" books - at the time of submission a minimum of 100 copies of the submitted title must have already been produced. The A.p.l.a handles books by consignment basis.

When submitting a book to us please provide us with the following information:

     Title
     Artist[s] Name[s]
